Japanese anime drama written and directed by Makoto Shinkai. 15-year-old school student and apprentice shoemaker Takao Akizuki (voice of Patrick Poole) is in the park on a rainy day when he meets 27-year-old Yukari Yukino (Maggie Flecknoe), a woman who is trying to overcome recent personal troubles.They continue to encounter each other on subsequent rainy days and begin to develop a bond but with Takao still just a teenager where can their relationship realistically go?
